Aldie Counseling Center—
Offering a comprehensive outpatient tobacco treatment program.

The Tobacco Treatment Program at Aldie Counseling Center is a comprehensive tobacco cessation counseling program open to adult Bucks County residents. The program is open to all tobacco users, regardless of level of motivation to quit, and provides clients with individual, group, and pharmacological interventions. It gives those who are interested in quitting the resources, tools, and support necessary to make sustaining life changes.

Each person who is interested in the program meets for an assessment with a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist. At that time, their readiness to change is assessed and an individualized quit plan is created. Each person's individualized quit plan encompasses both strengths and needs and includes triggers for use, alternative behaviors, support systems, and medications to aid with tobacco cessation. Group therapy has proven to be an especially effective treatment modality for people dealing with nicotine dependence and therefore groups are available twice weekly for support. Individual appointments with either a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist or a physician are scheduled as needed. Family and/or couple sessions are available to assist in the completion of the individual's quit plan. Collaboration occurs with medical personnel as well as other mental health providers, if necessary and as appropriate.

Aldie will work with you to determine the most cost-effective way to pay for treatment. There are several options available depending upon your income and employment status.
