Aldie Counseling Center—
Offering an effective, evening alternative to inpatient rehabilitation.
A cost effective and clinically equivalent alternative to inpatient rehabilitation, the Aldie Evening Recovery Program allows patients the opportunity to begin the process of recovery from chemical abuse and/or dependency while remaining active at work and in the family.
Held four evenings a week for variable lengths of stay up to six weeks, this program utilizes lectures, films, group discussions, psychodrama and individual/family therapy to address the disease of substance dependence.
The program covers, among other things:
- Stress Management
- Communication
- Interpersonal skills development
- Overcoming obstacles to recovery
- Physical consequences of substance abuse
- Relapse prevention
- Inclusion of family in building a healthier, happier future
The program includes:
- Four evenings of 2-3 hour group therapy sessions each week
- Two individual and/or family counseling sessions each week
- Random urine drug screens
- Attendance at weekend self-help groups
- A 6-8 week Transitional Continuing Care Plan
- Extended care options
