SUPPORT GROUPS FOR INDIVIDUALS
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership.
There are many, many AA meetings in Bucks County and the general Delaware Valley area. Meetings can take on a "personality" based on people who frequent those meetings, so try several to see which are the most comfortable for you.

Narcotics Anonymous is a nonprofit fellowship of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem. "We meet regularly to help each other stay clean. We are not interested in what or how much you used ... but only in what you want to do about your problem and how we can help." Membership is open to all drug addicts, regardless of the particular drug or combination of drugs used.

SUPPORT GROUPS FOR FAMILIES
Al Anon / Alateen "We who live or have lived with the problem of alcoholism understand as perhaps few others can. We, too, were lonely and frustrated, but in Al-Anon we discover that no situation is really hopeless and it is possible for us to find contentment, and even happiness, whether the alcoholic is still drinking or not."
