Applicants are asked to submit a resume and complete an application form. Resumes are reviewed by administration and supervisors.  Applicants who appear to have the necessary education, aptitude, and experience for a given position are asked to come in for an interview. Resumes are kept on file for a year and are reviewed when positions open.

We utilize counselor/therapists, program supervisors/coordinators, physicians, nurses, peer specialists, para-professionals for intake and case management work, administrative and clerical workers. Aldie offers full time positions with benefits, and part time fee-for-service positions. Most counselor/therapist positions require a master's degree in a human service field or a CAC.

PEER SPECIALIST
to work with clients in the Forensic Re-Entry Engagement program, meeting them. in the Bucks County Correctional Facility prior to their release, and connecting with, engaging, and motivating the client by sharing life experiences in recovery. will help to engage and motivate clients by discussing how they would like.  The peer specialist will share their knowledge of available services to prepare  the client for reentry into the community and to assist the client in moving forward in recovery.
 
The peer specialist candidate needs: (1) a minimum of one year stable recovery and (2) a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) – or higher education. Preference will be given to those who have completed the Peer Specialist Curriculum 2007, including Addiction 101, Confidentiality, Ethics, Boundaries, Medication-assisted Recovery.

PROGRAM COORDINATOR
For medication-assisted chemical dependency treatment program in Doylestown. Master’s level with supervisory and clinical experience. Preference given to applicants with license and/or certification, knowledge of methadone treatment; PCPC credentials. Responsible for managing staff and implementing programming, and carrying a small caseload. Join the treatment team at the largest non-profit outpatient drug/alcohol treatment provider in Bucks County. FT w/benefits.

Work Study:
Aldie welcomes students at local colleges who qualify for the federal work study program. These are positions for part-time file clerks and receptionists. Please check with the school student career services or financial aid departments to determine if you are eligible for this program, and if so, call Aldie and ask for the Office Manager.
Internship / Practicum:
Aldie offers a limited number of intern / practicum positions each year, and has relationships with several local colleges and universities. Check with your school advisor and then contact the outpatient coordinator at the Aldie site at which you would prefer to work:
